Elizabeth Maxine Huck
Elizabeth Maxine Huck was born October 23, 1926 in Nebraska, to William and Elizabeth Wilkinson.
She passed away on August 20, 2017 in Lodi, CA., surrounded by her family. Maxine worked in banking for over 44 years, she started as a teller, and worked her way up to Human Resources, she often assisted in the opening of new branches as the bank expanded. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed attending meetings with Carol at the Masons and the Shriner’s, travel and spending time with her family.
Maxine is survived by her daughter; Vicki Sarnecki, sisters; Lyda Haglan, Wilma Hild, Carol Coleman and Lois (Robert) Winkler, step-sons; Paul Huck and Joe Huck, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Elizabeth Wilkinson, brothers; Hank and Eugene Wilkinson, and sisters; Geneva Smith and Irene Bell.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 11:30 at First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Oak Street (corner of Church and Oak) Lodi, CA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Oak Street, Lodi, CA. 95240 or to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA. 95817.

Eileen Woods
Eileen Woods Obituary DOD 8-15-17
Eileen Woods passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017 of natural causes at the age of 91. She was born Eileen Norma Kolb on December 4, 1925 in the same house on Lockeford Street where she would live for the first 21 years of her life. At age nine she started taking piano lessons from Lola Wilkinson and by the time she was nineteen became the featured “young artist” piano soloist with the Stockton Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Manlio Silva. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1943, attended the University of the Pacific, and married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Woods when he returned from the war in 1946. Their first date was attending the Lodi High School harvest dance when she was only fourteen years old. They were happily married for 66 years. During retirement Eileen and Bob enjoyed traveling to Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica and Europe, even returning home from Paris on the Concorde in 1985. They vacationed in Hawaii for two weeks every winter to escape the valley fog. During the 50’s and 60’s Eileen taught piano lessons in her home and displayed her love of music to many Lodi children during that time. She was the German service organist for St. Peter’s Lutheran Church when it was located in downtown Lodi, Redeemer Lutheran Church and until recently played piano/organ duets with the organist at Zion Lutheran Church where she was a member. Always a gracious and proper lady she will be remembered most for her love and kindness to everyone. She always made a special point of knowing and remembering the name of everyone she came in contact with during her lifetime. Eileen was a member of the California Music Teachers Association and past officer of the Emperor Branch of the Lodi Memorial Hospital Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her daughter Connie and her husband Bob. She is survived by her daughters Shelly (Terry) Fischer of Sebastopol, Maryann (Ben) Spradley of Santa Barbara, five grandchildren and two great-grandsons. A private graveside service will be held. Any charitable donations may be made to the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music or to Zion Lutheran Church memorial fund.

Joseph Solano
On August 3, 2017 Joseph Eliseo Solano passed away peacefully at home. A Navy Veteran who was greatly loved by the family he cultivated and provided for. He is survived by his loving wife; Dorothy, there son’s Dean, Daniel, Doug, There grandchildren; Monica, Sondra, Vanessa, Lilly, Shane, Abie, Draven, Alyssia, As well as thirteen great-grandchildren.

Mary De Meo
Mary Veronica De Meo was born November 15, 1925 and passed away July 31, 2017. She grew up in Geneva New York where she attended Catholic Schools. She graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester New York and completed post graduate study at Cornell University Medical Centers in New York City.
In 1956 Mary moved to San Jose, California with her parents and brother Steve. She worked as Registered Nurse until her retirement in 1986. Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose De Meo and sister of the late Joanne De Meo Aday and Steve De Meo. She is survived by her three nieces Martha Williams, Geneva Aday and Mari Aday.
Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon and are invited to attend Graveside Services on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Karl Wellsbacher of St. Anne’s Catholic Church officiating.
